Algol Diabolus e a Idéia do Mal

English version No Livro de Astronomia de Bonatti (volume I, pg.314) encontramos uma curiosa observação onde ele fala sobre a constelação de Touro e as seis estrelas de de Touro que fazem parte das Plêiades. Todas elas são consideradas como pertencentes à natureza de Marte e Lua quando consideradas coletivamente, mas dentre elas, temos algumas que tomam a natureza de Marte e Mercúrio. Estas são as estrelas que no tempo de Bonatti eram encontradas à 14 graus e 45 minutos de Touro, chamada de Diabolus, e a 55 graus de distância encontramos Caput Diaboli, isto é, a cabeça do Diabo, que é a estrela mais conhecida como Algol. Isto significa que a estrela é binária. Algol tem uma longa reputação de ser associada com malefica, diabolismo e o mal. Mas o que é o mal?
